Having worked together since meeting in 1996, Chef Jorge I. Pacheco and Owner Richard N. Wadlington, Jr. bring vibrant energy and style to their newest entrepreneurial partnership, Park’s Edge Contemporary Cuisine and Lounge.

Born in Mexico City, Jorge was raised amongst the bold flavors and spices of his mother’s and grandmother’s kitchens. Learning how to cook at a young age, Jorge fell in love with the culinary world. Dining out was a cornerstone of his upbringing and these experiences were always infused with culture, family and an unabated passion for life. When Jorge was sixteen he and his family moved to California where he would meet his future business partner, Richard.

Originally from Beverly Hills, California, Richard was raised in a family with deep ties to the entertainment industry. Early in his life, Richard was imbibed with a deep appreciation for jazz, social atmospheres and the finer things in life. An instinctive businessman and world traveller with
roots both in Los Angeles and New York, Richard is the consummate host and he is delighted to bring his expertise to the hospitality industry.

Since the beginning of their friendship Richard has always admired Jorge’s enthusiasm and intuitive knowledge of fine cuisine. While traveling through Europe, Jorge and Richard were deeply impressed with the European lifestyle and its emphasis on food and family. Reminded of
his childhood in Mexico City, Jorge was inspired and committed to pursue his culinary vision.

Richard and Jorge’s shared values and genuine love for entertaining, good food and strong relationships are realized in their first Atlanta establishment, Park’s Edge. They have infused Park’s Edge not only with their energy and passions, but also with an honest appreciation and love for Atlanta and the Inman Park neighborhood. The menu is a diverse range inspired by Old and New World dishes and enlivened by the bold spices of Jorge’s Latino roots. Capturing the color and eclectic attitude of the neighborhood and adding the flavor of their West Coast style, Jorge and Richard have made Park’s Edge a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Inman Park. All together a stylish lounge, contemporary restaurant, and secluded neighborhood alcove, Park’s Edge is truly a unique dining and social experience.
